Size guide
Below you will find a general guide to help you find your size and helpful tips for a perfect fit.
The first thing to do is measure your body. You will need three basic measurements: your bust measurement, your underbust measurement, and your hip measurement.
- Bust: Place the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it straight at the back.
- Underbust: Place the tape measure around your rib cage, just below your breasts.
- Hips: Place the tape measure around the fullest part of your hips, usually around your butt area.
SHIRTS, DRESSING GOWNS AND KNITWEAR
In addition to measurements, also consider the style of maternity shirt you want.

Some maternity shirts have cutouts and elasticated panels at the sides to accommodate your growing bump, while others may have a looser style that allows you to wear them even after pregnancy.
Choose a style that you like and that offers you the comfort you want during pregnancy.
MATERNITY AND NURSING BRA
A bra that fits well must have a cup that adheres well to the breast and also laterally and the underbust must not be tight or 'marking'.

Pregnancy bras are normally worn starting from the 4th month and for this reason the fastening should be in the tightest position so that it can be loosened in the following months.
Nursing bras are purchased before giving birth. It is advisable to choose a larger size in circumference and cup size because the breasts will still grow.
Consider size changes: During pregnancy and breastfeeding, your breast size can change. Make sure you choose a maternity or nursing bra that is adjustable to accommodate your breast size changes throughout the day.
Choosing the most comfortable size: In addition to measurements, consider comfort. A maternity or nursing bra should offer adequate support without being too tight.
Adjustable Options: Maternity and nursing bras often offer additional adjustments, such as adjustable hook-and-eye closures at the back or adjustable straps. These options allow you to customize the bra to your needs based on your changing body and personal preferences.
SHEATHS, BANDS AND SLIP
Choose the coverage and style that you prefer. Some women prefer garments that cover the entire abdomen, while others may prefer smaller bands or briefs.

Pregnancy girdles are normally worn from the 6th month. Great care must be taken to ensure that the waist and leg circumference are not tight.
Postpartum bands are needed immediately after giving birth (already in the hospital). You need to buy the size you wore before pregnancy.
MATERNITY TIGHTS
Choose maternity tights made from stretchy materials that fit comfortably around your growing bump. Make sure they offer the right amount of support for your bump and aren’t too tight.

Check the instructions for proper donning of graduated compression tights, as they may require some attention to ensure effective compression.
Choosing the right size for maternity underwear is essential to ensure comfort and support during pregnancy.
Remember that every woman is unique and measurements may vary.
